ADVANTAGES IN PRICE AND TERMS OF WORK
On average, the cost of TVT works is nearly 2 times lower than the cost of similar seismic and other geophysical surveys. The cost of the work also includes interpretation of the obtained TVT data and recommendations for drilling. The contractor performs a full range of works on the search for hydrocarbons on a "turnkey basis", within the framework of a single technological algorithm. The specific price of the Contract depends on the area of the surveyed territory, the scale of work, the level of detail of the results, as well as the amount of a priory information provided.
The terms of the execution of comparable volumes of work, the TVT technique is on average 2-3 times faster than other geophysical ground-based research methods. For example, a detailed TVT-survey of an oil-promising area of 1000 sq km allows one to get a confident results in 3-4 months.
100 % ENVIRONMENTAL CLEANLINESS OF TVT WORKS
As a source material for TVT operations, when searching for HC, solid minerals, etc. we use space images from Modis & Landsat satellites. Further processing of the material is carried out on computers in the Contractor's office. TVT does not require mobilization of heavy equipment and obtaining permits for geophysical work.
RELIABILITY OF TVT RESULTS
Based on the practical results of well drilling after TVT works in various regions of the world, we assess the reliability of TVT about 85%. Examples, if necessary, can be provided.
HIGH INFORMATION CONTENT
TVT allows one to get a large amount of qualitative information about the structure and composition of the geological environment, including: block-fault tectonics and homogeneity of the medium, fluid saturation of rocks, fluid migration paths and accumulation, occurrence of aquifers, quality of the traps, effective interpretation of bioherm and salt dome structures, hydrocarbon deposits of various types, localization of ore fields and ore bodies, geometrical volume of prospective mineral deposits, etc.
SOFTWARE COMPATIBILITY
Digital TVT data can be imported into modern seismic processing software (eg. Petrel E&P Software), as well as others.
